Christmas is a wonderful time of the year and a great excuse to celebrate, however for Linda and Zane this year was particularly special. After being together for 10 years, they decided it was now time to tie the knot, and gave themselves just 5 months to plan the whole wedding! Wow, what a spectacular job they did too! With the Award Winning 5 star luxury hotel Pennyhill Park being their venue of choice, Linda & Zane set out to create their own touch of 'christmas magic' for their big day.
Linda looked breathtaking in a dress from the new season 2017 Collection 'Emmett' by Atelier Pronovias, and shoes 'Rockstuds' by Valentino. The beautiful shawl by Oui complemented the dress perfectly along with a most eye-catching bracelet by Atelier Swarovski. Linda, who has a background in beauty therapy, wanted someone 'exceptional' to help with her hair and make up on her big day, so she chose international Hair & Make Up artist Boe Wright, who also made the stunning headpiece in Linda's hair.
Groom Zane, along with proud sons Mason (Bestman) & Alex (who had the honour of giving mum away), all completely looked the part in suits & ties made at Gresham Blake, and shoes by Russell & Bromley. Rings by Number 10, Brighton.
With only a short time to create such a magical 'winter wonderland' Linda set to work to design and create the lovely table settings herself, through her own business Tranquility Table Decorating Services (01424 775545), a bespoke design service for the discerning client. Florist Julie Barnard from Longacres, designed the beautiful bouquet & floral decorations and we think you will agree that between them the results speak for themselves.
The amazing 'bauble' wedding cakes provided a real talking point! Created by Makiko Searle of MakisCakes, previously Head pastry Chef at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London, these 'Temari' cakes were a selection of 12 large cakes filled with Lemon sponge/cream and 10 small cakes filled with chocolate sponge and chocolate ganache. Simply Heavenly!
